2. UV. Exposure of the safety belt to continuous ultraviolet light will destroy the strength of the synthetic fiber sling. Visual inspection method for UV damage: the color of sling fades; Sling material hardening; Surface wear occurs where the sling does not often contact the load.
3. Temperature. As the raw material of the safety belt belongs to chemical fiber products, too high temperature is harmful or even destructive to the safety belt. Especially in places with welding operations, it is necessary to prevent sparks generated by electric welding from scalding the safety belt. 4. Sharp edge. When the lifting object has sharp edges, the sharp edges will cause destructive cuts to the safety belt. In order to protect the lifting belt from cuts, a protective lining can be placed between the safety belt and the lifted object.
If the safety belt is no longer used, it must be stored in a clean, dry and well ventilated environment and placed on a shelf away from heat sources, gases that can erode the appearance, chemicals, direct sunlight and other strong ultraviolet radiation.
