Self locking device is also known as safety self-locking device, climbing self-locking device, anti falling self-locking device, etc. According to the standard of fall arrester, it is a guided fall arrester with flexible guide rail - safety rope slide. This kind of fall arrester is widely used in the vertical lifeline system, which is different from the speed difference steel wire rope fall arrester used in the horizontal lifeline: not only the structure of the fall arrester is different, but also the principle and application method of the fall arrester are very different. The self-locking device belongs to eccentric cam type anti falling device. The principle of this anti falling device is friction braking. During normal operation, high-altitude workers have no sense of concern. In case of falling, within the braking distance, the eccentric cam will gradually lock the ratchet teeth, so that the self-locking device will rub slowly on the flexible guide rail. After absorbing most of the gravity potential energy, the high-altitude falling action will be locked to avoid secondary injury to the human body.
The self-locking device is composed of left block, right block, buffer lock block, button, guide column, roller, horizontal guide wheel, anti inversion pin, knob, knob locking mechanism, safety hook and other components. Among them, the left and right blocks of the self-locking device are a pair of stainless steel blocks that use buttons and knobs to synchronously control the latch to automatically buckle. It is the main body of the safety self-locking device, which is used to realize fall braking through friction with the safety rope slide in fall protection. The climbing self-locking device uses the friction brake between the main body (synchronous control slider) and the safety rope slide to lock the high-altitude workers from accidental falling.
When in use, first press the button, then rotate the knob clockwise, then separate the left block and the right block, install the self-locking slider on the safety rope guide rail, close the left block and the right block, and release the button and knob at the same time, and then buckle automatically. After that, hang the safety hook on the safety belt of high-altitude workers, and the self-locking device moves up and down along the guide rail without falling off, which is very convenient.
