Correct use of fall arrester

As the name suggests, the fall arrester can effectively protect the life of ground operators and the damage of suspended objects. The fall arrester can quickly brake and lock falling objects within a limited distance. It is suitable for cargo hoisting and protects the life safety of ground operators and the damage of lifted workpiece objects. Fall arresters are widely used in engineering construction, power maintenance, oil mining, coal mining, bridge construction and other fields for high-altitude operation, so as to provide effective safety guarantee for high-altitude workers.

1. The fall arrester must be hung high and used low. When in use, it should be hung on the structure with solid blunt edge above the user.

2. Before using the fall arrester, check the safety rope and appearance, and try to lock it for 2 ~ 3 times (locking method: pull out the safety rope at normal speed and make a "click" sound; pull the safety rope hard and lock it. When you let go, the safety rope should be automatically recovered into the device. If the safety rope cannot be fully recovered, just pull out some safety ropes). Stop using if there is any abnormality.

3. In principle, when using the fall arrester for tilting operation, the inclination shall not be greater than 30 degrees. If it is more than 30 degrees, whether it can hit the surrounding objects must be considered.

4. The key parts of the fall arrester have been subject to special treatment such as anti-wear and anti-corrosion, and have been closely debugged. There is no need to add lubricant during use.

5. It is forbidden to use the fall arrester with the safety rope twisted. Disassembly and modification are strictly prohibited. And should be placed in a dry place with less dust.

Check whether the safety rope is broken or rusted before each use; Whether the appearance is abnormal; When the safety rope is pulled out at a uniform speed, it shall be smooth without jamming. It can be locked after 2-5 times of jerking, indicating that it works normally. Wipe it clean after working in rainy and snowy weather to avoid rust and reduce the service life of the product.
